News Release: The 8th Amendment of the US Constitution in Action.
On May 8, 2014 Albert H. McClelland set the State of Indiana record for having exercised the 8th Amendment of the US Constitution by being the first Indiana Bail Bondsman to write a One Million Dollar Secured Bail Bond. The bond was posted in Starke County, Knox, IN for insurance fraud.
The 8th Amendment:
"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted".
